Spiritborn Build Tier List — Season 14 / Death Awakening

Updated May 20, 2026 — Patch 3.0.2 (May 13, 2026)

Spiritborn — added with Vessel of Hatred in October 2024 — leans on four Spirit Guardians: Jaguar (combo melee), Eagle (mobility and evades), Gorilla (defense and slams), and Centipede (curses and ranged projectiles). The class sits at A-tier overall in Season 14 / Death Awakening, but its top pick punches above that: Evade Counterswarm is the only S-tier Spiritborn build in the post-3.0.2 endgame list, with Evade Spiritborn sitting one rung below at A.

Why Evade Counterswarm is the headline pick. Evade-trigger payloads scale every dodge frame into a damage instance, and the Counterswarm interaction layers a Centipede-flavored swarm on top of every evade. It's the only Spiritborn build that has separated itself from the pack post-3.0.2 — every other archetype currently sits at A or C.

S

Evade Counterswarm Spiritborn

The lone S-tier Spiritborn build in 3.0.2. Centipede-leaning evade-trigger setup that turns dodge frames into damage windows. Best Spiritborn pick for Pit pushing and Echoing Hatred.

A

Evade Spiritborn

Eagle-leaning evade build — the original Vessel of Hatred evade pattern. Strong farming feel without the Counterswarm gear ceiling.

C

Quill Volley Spiritborn

Centipede ranged projectile build. Outclassed by the evade variants at endgame, decent campaign feel.

C

Crushing Hand Spiritborn

Gorilla slam build. Tanky pattern, soft scaling at endgame Pit tiers.

C

Rake Spiritborn

Jaguar melee combo build. Lower priority for gear investment in 3.0.2.
