Season 14 retuned the Warlock. Echoing Strike now combines its damage additively and no longer always hits, with weapon damage increased to compensate — it remains the strongest Warlock build and stays S-tier. Bind Demon now requires base points to capture tougher demons (10/15/20 for Champion/Unique/Super-Unique) and its bind chance rose from 10% to 20%. Sunder Charm farming opened up — any monster can drop them with Magic Find, and the increased-chance Herald tier dropped from Tier 4 to Tier 1.

The Reign of the Warlock expansion landed with Season 13 — a new class, the Colossal Ancients endgame, Heralds, the three-era character system, and an in-game loot filter. Season 14 First-Week Checklist

How long does a D2R season last?
D2R ladder seasons have generally run about 3-4 months; Blizzard does not publish a fixed end date. Season 13 (Reign of the Warlock) launched February 11, 2026 and ran until the May 22 reset that opened Season 14.
What happens to my characters now that the season has reset?
All Season 13 Ladder characters migrated to Non-Ladder (Eternal) at reset. Their items, levels, gold, and stashes carried over — but they left the seasonal ladder leaderboard. To compete in Season 14, you must create new characters on Ladder. Ladder characters and their items move to Non-Ladder at reset.
